Responsibilities

Create an amazing Member experience for our members who choose to use our phone, online, and mobile delivery channels to interact and conduct business with us
Demonstrates an understanding of, and belief in, Mazuma’s culture and core values
Work with Members and Team Members directly and indirectly to engage and connect, evaluate to identify needs, educate on solutions, and enrich the lives of our members through outstanding service delivery

Required

1 year call center or similar experience required
1 year customer service or similar required
1 year of sales and/or advising or similar required
Demonstrated ability in lieu of experience will be considered for internal candidates
Well-organized, good mathematical ability, with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Required to work at any credit union location that may include extended hours, holidays, or Saturdays
Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel), as well as advanced keyboarding skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven customer/member service skills
Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills or demonstrated ability
Ability to work with all departments, personality types, and skill levels effectively
Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
Lead by example and represent the highest level of member service
Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work with minimal supervision, either independently or as a team
Minimum of High School Diploma, or equivalent

Preferred

1 year financial institution experience preferred
1 year consumer lending experience preferred
