As a Supplier Recovery Engineer, you will act as the primary on-site representative at delinquent supplier locations, stabilize industrial processes, and execute recovery initiatives to align supplier output with operational requirements.

Responsibilities

Acting as primary on-site representative at delinquent supplier locations across North America

Stabilizing industrial processes and restoring production transparency

Executing recovery initiatives to align supplier output with Safran’s operational requirements

Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Procurement, NPI, Quality, and Supplier Performance Management

Conduct deep-dive assessments using tools such as 8D, Pareto Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping to identify bottlenecks and systemic failures

Negotiate and validate formal recovery plans that are credible, time-bound, and include measurable milestones for backlog reduction

Implement tracking mechanisms to provide real-time visibility into Work in Progress (WIP) and ensure supplier commitments are backed by physical inventory and production evidence
