Responsibilities
Analyze and design data structures to support various applications and new features
Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, pipeline functions, views, and table partitioning
Implement security measures through roles, user privileges, and object privileges
Perform performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
Utilize SQL Loader for large file loads and SQL Plus commands
Work with Oracle AQ messaging and develop Python scripts for data handling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology
Support deployments and troubleshoot issues on Linux servers, including shell scripting
Ensure timely and quality deliverables while maintaining compliance with organizational standards
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle database developer
Strong RDBMS skills including SQL querying and advanced database design
Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data handling
Proficiency in Python scripting and Linux shell programming
Familiarity with Oracle AQ messaging
Experience working in Agile environments
5+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Capital Markets or Prime Brokerage
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Strong communication skills for both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred
AWS Cloud experience is a plus
Understanding of financial terminologies and accounting concepts
