Area Sales Manager
Datamax Inc is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Managers in achieving sales goals and developing new business. The role involves coaching sales representatives, ensuring adherence to CRM standards, and collaborating with various departments to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of up to six Account Managers to achieve sales goals and develop new business
Spend significant time in the field (20+ hours weekly) coaching reps, assisting with closing, and driving new opportunities
Ensure team adherence to CRM usage standards, sales processes, and data integrity
Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, coaching, and results
Act as a key executor of sales strategy and bridge between frontline activity and sales leadership
Develop a sustainable recruiting and training pipeline to maintain staffing excellence
Direct field leadership: Coach, observe, and support reps during in-person client visits and calls
Execute and enforce structured planning practices, including Friday planning sessions and weekly one-on-ones
Lead and participate in phone blitzes and field blitzes to stimulate lead generation
Drive proper CRM use: ensure reps document activity accurately and consistently
Review forecasts and pipeline health weekly, and coach reps toward accurate projections
Build individualized performance and development plans for team members
Partner with the Director of Sales on recruitment, onboarding, and performance improvement actions
Collaborate cross-functionally with service, IT, marketing, and leadership teams to align goals and remove blockers

Preferred
