Head of Capital Development/Fundraising
Long Ridge Partners is an alternative investment firm providing hedge fund solutions and portfolio management to accredited investors and institutional clients. The Head of Capital Development is responsible for defining and executing the firm's strategy to achieve capital raising objectives, focusing initially on developing investor relationships primarily within the Southeastern United States.

Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic relationships with high-net-worth individuals, registered investment advisors (RIAs), single and multi-family offices, investment consultants, and institutions to secure capital commitments to the firm’s multi-strategy hedge fund
Demonstrated ability to engage and build enduring trust-based relationships with sophisticated investors through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Brings established senior-level experience in capital raising, with a clearly demonstrated track record of delivering successful fundraising outcomes across investor segments
Possesses deep understanding of a broad spectrum of hedge fund strategies—including macro, credit, volatility arbitrage, and multi-strategy approaches—with the ability to effectively communicate nuanced value propositions to a sophisticated investor audience and apply that knowledge across varied investment contexts and market conditions
Applies transferable knowledge to adapt messaging, engagement tactics, and fundraising strategy in alignment with evolving market conditions and investor preferences globally
Has established relationships with investment consultants and demonstrates experience in intermediary distribution channels, with a proven ability to navigate gatekeeper dynamics and drive capital raising efforts across advisory platforms
Exhibits strong understanding of institutional investor due diligence and leads investor pitches, roadshows, and capital introduction events with clarity and conviction. Applies storytelling expertise to translate complex investment strategies into compelling narratives aligned with investor expectations
Demonstrates experience in the creation and refinement of marketing collateral, including investor presentations, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and factsheets, with a focus on aligning content with firm messaging and regulatory standards
Maintains a strong compliance-oriented mindset with thorough understanding of SEC regulations and global marketing and fundraising guidelines across key regions including the Americas (AMER), Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC)
Willingness to take ownership and accountability in driving asset under management (AUM) growth, with a clear commitment to delivering against capital raising targets and strategic objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
At least 8 years of experience in investor relations, business development, or fundraising within private equity, asset management, hedge funds or similar environments
Employs a structured and repeatable end-to-end process for capital raising—from investor sourcing and initial engagement through to closing—ensuring consistent execution, pipeline visibility, and alignment with fundraising targets and timelines
Experience managing investor databases or CRM systems
