Topa Group, Inc. is partnered with a Denver-based Commercial AV integrator to hire an experienced Audio Video Lead Technician. This is a hands-on, field leadership role supporting Commercial AV installations and system commissioning.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission commercial AV systems (displays, speakers, projectors, microphones, VC)

Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Cat5, Cat6, RJ45, XLR, COAX, fiber)

Build and wire equipment racks per drawings

Support control & DSP platforms (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC/Q-SYS)

Lead installation teams and coordinate with PMs, clients, and IT staff

Maintain documentation (redlines, punch lists, time tracking)

Required

Strong commercial AV installation and commissioning experience

Understanding of signal flow, DSPs, and AV troubleshooting

Basic networking knowledge (OSI Layers 1–3)

Experience with IR, RS-232, IP, Dante, AVB

Proficient with hand and power tools

Must own basic tools and a 6' ladder

Preferred

AVIXA CTS / CTS-I / CTS-D

Manufacturer certs (Crestron, Biamp, Shure, Extron, QSC)

OSHA / ADA and construction site safety knowledge
