Responsibilities

Hands-on Java engineer with expertise in developing complex, large scale enterprise applications
Build highly scalable non-blocking microservices using enterprise framework based on Vert.x, Spring Boot
Core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices
Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation, participating in code review
Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
Collaborating with architects, product owners, developers and other scrum teams to deliver a quality product
Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies - influencing team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo

Required

5+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience
Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, SQL, React
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing
Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
RESTful API development experience
Experience with continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins, Maven, XLR, Mockito, SOAPUI, JMeter, OpenShift, Public Cloud(AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker)
Must be aware or worked on distributed log analytics like Splunk, Kibana
Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on architecture and solution design
Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience required

Preferred

Good to have if hands-on experience with any BPM frameworks such as Camunda, JBPM, etc
Preferred experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), LLMs, Gen-AI and Agentic AI usage
