Responsibilities
Overseeing daily operations of the warehouse
Inventory management
Receiving and shipping processes
Data entry of receiving and shipping details
Customer and vendor returns and service exchanges
Continuous improvement of existing and new processes
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
Works with purchasing team to notify sales/production department of back-orders and shipment delays
Revises schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions
Collaborating with management, sales, production, or engineering
Key User SAP with strong experience in Warehousing, Inbound & Outbound, internal logistics
Other duties as assigned by Management
Definition, modification and optimization of shipping guidelines collaborating closely with other departments (Global Logistics, global SCM, Global Purchasing…)
Lead a team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Monitor equipment like forklifts
Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment
Qualification
Required
Associate degree required
5-7 years' experience in warehouse, and people management
Strong SAP experience required (expert level for Cycle counter and Material Manager)
Highly efficient supervisory techniques and skills
Profound understanding of inventory principles and processes
Familiar with standard shipping processes
High level of accuracy and self-dependence
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple complex tasks under close timelines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook
Computer proficient. Understanding of warehouse software application packages
