Responsibilities
Support investment transactions and ongoing portfolio matters across multiple asset classes
Work closely with internal investment teams and coordinate with outside counsel on deal execution
Review, draft, and negotiate transactional documentation, including NDAs and related agreements
Advise on regulatory and legal issues arising from existing investments
Help enhance internal legal processes to support efficient transaction execution
On a limited basis, assist with general corporate matters such as leases, service and confidentiality agreements
Qualification
Required
JD from a top U.S. law school with active New York Bar admission
6+ years of experience at a large law firm and/or investment fund, with a focus on fund formation and/or co-investments
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a practical, business-oriented mindset
Excellent judgment, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative in-house environment
