Project Manager (Building Systems)
Arora Engineers is seeking a Project Manager for building systems to oversee a variety of architectural and construction projects at the airport campus. The role involves managing consultants and contractors, ensuring design oversight, and coordinating with various stakeholders to successfully complete projects valued at over $1 billion.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively and effectively with diverse groups and individuals internally and externally
Ability to manage multiple moderately complex projects simultaneously and prioritize work between multiple projects and meet deadlines
Analyze and interpret technical data, reports, specifications, and engineering and architectural plans for facilities at a commercial air carrier airport
Prepare, evaluate, monitor, and maintain complex operating budgets and capital program budgets
Plan, organize and direct work on complex projects involving building infrastructure and systems; ability to promote consensus and negotiate favorable outcomes
Research current and future trends to establish programs for existing and new buildings
Create and meet schedules and deadlines of the work
Understand and carry out oral and written directions
Accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Architecture, a building engineering discipline (i.e., mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) or related field
3+ years of overall project management experience at a commercial service airport the size and scope of RDU with emphasis on the project types noted above
Ability to manage multiple moderately complex projects simultaneously and prioritize work between multiple projects and meet deadlines
Analyze and interpret technical data, reports, specifications, and engineering and architectural plans for facilities at a commercial air carrier airport

Performing basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios
Assigning, prioritizing, monitoring, and reviewing work assignment
Preferred
Licensed Architect or Engineer desirable but not required
Project Management certification desired but not required
LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification (preferred)
