InternAPI Heat Transfer is a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialty heat exchangers and heat transfer solutions. They are seeking a motivated College Intern to support process optimization initiatives within their Engineering team, focusing on improving manufacturing processes and safety.

Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing and correcting routings and labor rates for manufacturing processes
Conduct time studies to validate and improve process efficiency
Analyze jobs with a critical eye to identify opportunities for process improvement
Evaluate ergonomics and safety within workstations and recommend improvements
Collaborate with team members to implement continuous improvement projects
Document findings and prepare reports for management review
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
Must be at least a sophomore standing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to conduct accurate time studies and interpret data
Detail-oriented with a critical thinking mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing floor for extended periods
Must be able to bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes
Preferred
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
