Principal Scientist/Senior Principal Scientist
Harbour BioMed is a biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Shanghai with business operations and research centers in Boston and Netherlands. They are seeking highly motivated immunologists to join their Immunology and Inflammation team to lead immunology discovery projects and develop innovative therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.

Responsibilities
Lead immunology discovery projects and champion projects from discovery into early clinical development
Develop and execute efficient strategies for target identification, prioritization and validation; review, propose, initiate, and implement new pre-clinical therapeutic antibody drug discovery and development programs in the field of Immunology and Inflammation
Represent in-house expertise in one or more areas of T cells, macrophages/DC, NK cells, ILC, or B cells
Collaborate with CRO and academic partners; employ cutting-edge in vitro and in vivo animal and human models to advance drug discovery and development programs up to and including IND filing
Collaborate with clinical and business units to support clinical studies. Lead project team meetings, and present updates to senior management
Facilitate the writing of patents and regulatory documents. Present non-proprietary results on scientific conferences and publish in peer reviewed journals
Qualification
Required
PhD in immunology or related discipline
2-4 years of postdoctoral experience in immunology or related field
More than 5 years of industrial experience, ideally in the field of immunology
Preferred
Demonstrated track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement in research, exemplified by strong publications in leading journals
Experience of leading a drug discovery project in biopharmaceutical companies
Expertise of in vitro primary immune cell based functional assays
Extensive experience in flow cytometry, as well as molecular and cellular biology
Knowledge and/or skills of in vivo models of immuno-inflammatory diseases
Understanding of fundamentals and practice of antibody discovery, engineering, and development
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as people organizational skill
Enthusiasm in laboratory experimentation
