Responsibilities
Provide domain expertise in cloud security and compliance, and be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex cloud security and compliance challenges
Work with customers to design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet and exceed their security requirements through discussions, strategic presentations and recommendations, and direct implementation in Google Cloud environment
Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders
Manage disparate stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and drive positive customer outcomes on the Google Cloud platform
Travel approximately 30% of the time as needed for client engagements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions
Experience with network security, data security, and regulatory compliance frameworks
Experience managing internal or external customer-facing projects to completion while working with cross-functional teams
Preferred
10 years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions
Experience in cloud security delivered within context of customer-facing roles
Experience in security architecture or security engineering
Experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI, or HIPAA security requirements in cloud environment
Experience understanding attacks and mitigation methods in two or more of the following: network protocols and secure network design; web application security; security assessments and penetration testing; authentication and access control; applied cryptography and security protocols; security monitoring and intrusion detection; incident response and forensics; development of security tools, automation, or frameworks
Excellent communication, written, presentation, and problem-solving skills
