Environmental Engineer Associate/Assistant - NER0021

Responsibilities
Schedule and conduct engineering level water pollution compliance inspections, sanitary sewer overflow inspections, pretreatment inspections and environmental investigations at permitted and unpermitted facilities in the Northeast Region
Prepare documentation that is timely and accurate (reports, correspondence, photographs, data entry, and forms) and conduct follow-up work for timely compliance
Perform monitoring and sampling, as needed
Provide compliance and technical assistance to the regulated community, and general assistance to the public, on water pollution requirements, both in the office and onsite
Conduct emergency response to situations that require immediate action, including outside regular work hours
Perform other related work as assigned
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and 0-4 years of relevant experience

Preferred
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination is preferred. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
