Responsibilities

Conduct public health investigations to identify, respond, and prevent non-infectious, toxicological outbreaks
Serve as the branch data scientist and epidemiologist with the Toxicological Outbreak Program
Develop data pipelines, case definitions, investigation surveys, protocols, and reports
Provide expertise in identifying non-infectious agents of exposure
Serve as a liaison with interdepartmental, state, federal, and academic colleagues

Required

Master's Degree in a relevant field is required to meet the minimum qualifications
Doctoral Degree in a relevant field is required to meet the minimum qualifications
Experience in data science
Experience conducting public health investigations
Expertise in identifying non-infectious agents of exposure
Ability to develop data pipelines, case definitions, investigation surveys, and protocols
Ability to provide reports and serve as a liaison with interdepartmental, state, federal, and academic colleagues

Benefits

Educational pay differential equivalent to 2% of their monthly base pay
Educational pay differential equivalent to 3% of their monthly base pay
