Responsibilities

Provide design engineering support for manufacturing operations in Lubbock
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve fixtures, tools, and assembly processes
Participate in process improvement initiatives and assist with administrative tasks related to design engineering
Apply Design for Manufacturing principles to optimize product designs for efficient production
Develop and refine fixture designs to support assembly operations
Work onsite to ensure timely communication and effective collaboration with local teams
Occasionally travel to Cranston, RI (quarterly) for meetings and training; initial 2-week visit to learn products and processes
Engage with R&D staff to address design questions and support product development

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
10+ years of design support experience in a manufacturing environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative (go-getter attitude)
Willingness to travel occasionally
