Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership by guiding team members, assigning and tracking work, and developing policies, processes, and procedures in alignment with Covered California goals
Manage marketing project workflows and oversee implementation, communication, and distribution of campaigns across multiple channels
Lead a team responsible for coordinating cross-functional channels partners, external contractors, and stakeholders to execute marketing efforts effectively and on time
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure operational excellence while delivering measurable outcomes
Provide oversight and project management of vendors including external agency partners (e.g., creative, media, production agencies) and promote collaboration and efficient delivery of services to Covered California
Drive operational improvements that increase efficiency across marketing campaigns and processes
Leverage data analytics and market insights to inform campaign strategies and optimize performance

Required

Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Experienced analytical thinker with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights that improve marketing strategies, campaign performance, and operational efficiency
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex marketing projects, including the development of strategic plans informed by consumer research, and overseeing implementation to drive measurable outcomes
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus and work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to align efforts and achieve organizational goals

Preferred

Experience working in regulated industries, public health, or non-profit organizations is a plus
