The Drafter will be responsible for creating accurate and comprehensive residential remodeling plans in collaboration with the Architecture team, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed construction plans using CAD software for residential remodeling projects
Collaborate with the Architecture department to ensure all plans meet project specifications and client expectations
Submit plans to municipalities for approval, ensuring compliance with local building codes
Revise plans based on feedback from clients, the Architect, and municipal reviewers
Maintain clear communication with the Pre-Construction and Architecture teams throughout the drafting process
Ensure all designs are aligned with Lakeside’s high standards of quality and craftsmanship
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and local building regulations
Assist with plan revisions as required to accommodate project changes
Attend meetings with architects, engineers, and construction teams as necessary
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plan production for residential remodeling
Experience submitting plans to municipalities and ensuring compliance with local codes
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
