Responsibilities

Must be skilled and experienced with industrial sewing techniques and equipment. Sewing position is responsible for the finishing of printed textiles to specific sizes and at the quality of expectation. Finishing involves measuring, cutting, applying SEG, Velcro and stitching using an automated sewing machine. Basic sewing machine maintenance skills required and expected
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain sewing machines
Fit and QC all SEG fabrics into framing systems
Read and calculate department job ticket(s) information; follow specific fabrication instructions as indicated by Work Order(s), Clients(s), or Supervisor(s)
Ensure maximum machine efficiency while completing orders on-time and in accordance with customers’ expectations
Maintain inventory supplies as needed
Prepare final product for shipping and delivery multiple locations; create custom packaging when necessary
Maintain and safely use all Fabric Production finishing tools and equipment provided for trimming, cutting, and packaging
Provide quality control at designated steps on the process
Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Graphics Manager or Director

Required

High School Diploma
3-5+ years industry Seamstress experience in Fabric Production
Proficient in the operation of PC operating system and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Willingness to follow department policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area
Multi-tasking skills & a team player a must
Must be skilled and experienced with industrial sewing techniques and equipment

Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
Standing for prolonged periods
Periodic overtime
Fast-paced environment; subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity
Noise level is usually moderate to loud
