Responsibilities
Ensure products meet high standards
Actively seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency
Inspect finished steel tools, components, and engineering materials using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers
Maintain detailed product records for audits and quality tracking
Make note of any defects or problems in the products
Work with quality, production, and engineering teams to solve recurring issues and optimize manufacturing processes
Qualification
Required
Ability to work the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50 lbs., and perform repetitive tasks with few breaks
Strong knowledge of measurement tools
Excellent problem-solving skills
Clear and effective communication skills
Preferred
Familiar with ISO standards/industry regulations
Quality inspection experience in an industry like steel, tooling, or engineering
