Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and month-end close for assigned sites
Prepare cost reports, production analyses, and performance summaries
Partner closely with plant managers on forecasts, budgets, and financial planning
Keep GR/IR clean and resolve invoice discrepancies quickly
Support inventory counts and dig into variances when needed
Assist with BOM reviews, standard cost updates, and pricing accuracy
Provide support for audits and capital project requests
Jump in as backup support whenever the team needs it
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting + 7+ years of progressive experience (manufacturing preferred)
Strong cost accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel skills
Detail-driven, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to partner across teams
Preferred
CPA/CMA or an advanced degree
Experience with ERP systems (SAP or JDE highly preferred)
