Technical Publications Writer - Level 3
Lockheed Martin is a leader in aeronautics and is seeking a Technical Publications Writer - Level 3. In this role, you will be responsible for authoring maintenance instructions for complex aircraft and ensuring documentation compliance with engineering and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Working with a team and independently, to develop and deliver technically accurate technical maintenance documentation
Verification and certification of technical publications content to ensure corrective measures are met and documentation is compliant with requirements
Communication with Engineering and customers to fulfill program requirements
Qualification
Required
Holds a Final DoD Secret Clearance with an Investigation or CV date within in the last 5 years
Experience interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in dynamic operational work environments
Experience interpreting complex tech drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and/or specifications
Familiar with the MIL-STDs, MIL-DTLs, and/or Tech Order authoring of military manuals; experience controlling changes and version control, supporting release management
Preferred
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience with markup language authoring (Knowledgeable in element and attribute XML tagging for S1000D-compliant interactive electronic publications)
Experience with Database entry and management
Experience evaluating technical order changes
Understanding of aircraft inspection requirements
Experience with electronic technical publications task relationships, applicability, and change management
