TransPak is a company focused on quality assurance in manufacturing, and they are seeking a Quality Control Inspector. The inspector will ensure products meet customer requirements through inspections and contribute to maintaining quality assurance functions and compliance with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

Accepts or rejects completed work products by verifying the product or process meets the customer specifications and requirements through dimensional and visual inspection

Inspect product or process with specialized tools. This may include weighing or measuring finished products, assessing moisture content of wood, visually inspecting workmanship and/or gauging product reliability

Updates information in software to record, track and update data and assists in delivery of reports where required

Ensures all finished goods comply with the engineering drawing to include compliance to stenciling requirements, loose or miscellaneous material requirements and special handling requirements such as shock/tilts and unique customer labels

Reviews specifications, standards and/or test plans of customer designs, and reports feedback to the Design department

Shares feedback with the manufacturing and support functions when nonconformances or inefficiencies are identified

Participates in ISO audits to ensure local and company-wide compliance to specified standards
