Tapestry Health, a multi-specialty group currently practicing in 40 states, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the team. The role involves maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with company and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintaining and updating all bank and credit card transactions in accounting program

Entering all accounts payable in accounting program

Pay accounts payable from the bank or by check and record payments in accounting program

Manage monthly invoicing and Accounts Receivable balances, follow up with sites

Assist with recording of payments made by our customers

Prepare financial reports such as daily cash receipts

Directing the collection, computing, and documentation of payroll data from operations

Reviewing and recording payroll payments and account reconciliations

Ensuring records and processes comply with company and legal regulations

Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Accounting degreeAdvanced QuickBooks OnlinePayroll processes knowledgeMicrosoft Office proficiencyMath skillsAnalytical skillsGeneral ledger knowledgeCommunication skills

Required

Degree in accounting required

More than three years of general accounting experience, either in public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Advanced QuickBooks Online

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations across multi-states

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong math and analytical skills

Preferred

General ledger knowledge preferred but not required
