Responsibilities
Reviews and posts all invoices for institution; obtains proper approval signature from managers, prepares checks/ACH to pay vendors, and tracks all invoices monthly
Daily processing of ACH and Check exceptions, returns, and adjustments
Manage all corporate credit card payments; obtains expense reimbursement forms with proper approval signature, posts expenses, and balance clearing GL and DDA account
Reconciles multiple general ledger accounts, including cashier’s checks and money orders for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Research and respond timely to related contacts sent to the department via e-mail or any other mode of communication. Stays in contact with other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve issues that arise
Prepares reports and correspondence as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Financial Institution experience is strongly preferred
Acute attention to detail
Proficient on database software, Excel, and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
