Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed

Support Product Owner: Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog, ensure clear communication of product goals, and prioritize user stories based on business value

Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve roadblocks to optimize team productivity and maintain steady workflow

Foster Team Collaboration: Promote a collaborative team environment and facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders

Coach Agile Practices: Educate and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum processes, and best practices

Drive Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate process improvements to optimize the team's effectiveness and agility

Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on team progress using relevant metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to drive transparency and continuous improvement

Promote Agile Mindset: Advocate for an Agile mindset and Scrum practices across the organization, helping to build a culture of adaptability and innovation

Facilitate Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with other Scrum Masters and teams to align on project goals and remove dependencies

Required

Minimum 2-5 years as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment

Experience with software development teams and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and Lean principles

Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage team dynamics and mediate conflicts effectively

Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello)

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Problem-solving attitude and continuous improvement mindset

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or similar Agile certifications
