Responsibilities

Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents

Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing

Attend court hearings, depositions, and manage all aspects of client representation both inside and outside the courtroom

Negotiate, review, revise, and draft various types of contracts

Create, analyze, and modify operating documents for legal entities, including corporations, LLCs, and partnerships

Oversee and collaborate with outside counsel

Advise internal clients on a range of legal and business matters

Provide legal advice that considers both legal implications and business needs of the client

Required

1-3 Years Of Experience In Commercial Litigation

Active member of the State Bar of Ohio

High-level computer skills, with experience in electronic document management systems a plus

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook

Skilled in legal research software (Lexis, Casemaker, etc.)

Strong ability to compose both business and legal correspondence

Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic

Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately under pressure

Capable of managing a diverse workload and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Effective time management with the ability to establish priorities

Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities

A proactive and dedicated approach, taking pride in one's work
