Content Marketing Manager
Smartpin is a company focused on helping organizations track and manage unpowered assets at scale. They are seeking a hands-on Content Marketing Manager to build and operate their organic content engine, creating high-performing content that drives qualified traffic and improves activation.

Responsibilities
Create high-performing content across blogs, landing pages, email, scripts, and long-form assets aligned with our SEO that support PLG growth and sales cycles
Translate complex topics (IoT asset tracking, Bluetooth networks, ops workflows, device + SaaS) into clear, benefit-led narratives
Build a repurposing pipeline: Turn one “pillar” asset into multiple derivatives (LinkedIn posts, short scripts, FAQs, sales snippets)
Maintain quality and consistency with our brand book (voice, positioning, claims, terminology)
Write lifecycle copy that improves activation and upgrades: onboarding series, triggered nurtures, in-app/email sequences
Partner with Marketing/Sales to create content for practical enablement assets (one-pagers, pilot guides, battle cards, lightweight decks)
Own day-to-day organic execution (primarily LinkedIn), including weekly publishing cadence and community engagement
Report on content performance using metrics to recommend iterations and guide optimization
Collaborate weekly with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to source stories and technical truth
Activate design to help develop assets
Organize and maintain content and assets with clear naming/versioning
Qualification
Required
3-6+ years in content marketing (B2B SaaS strongly preferred; hardware + SaaS or IoT is a plus)
Proven ability to own multi-format content end-to-end (ideation → draft → publish → iterate) with examples
Strong SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, search intent, internal linking) and comfort with Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc
Experience writing for PLG motions (activation/onboarding, nurture, conversion-oriented landing pages)
Excellent judgment: can simplify without dumbing down; can be bold without over-claiming
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
Preferred
Bonus: experience in operations-heavy verticals, product storytelling, or partner co-marketing
