Fortrea is hiring a Manager, Site Agreements for their FSP team. This role involves managing and overseeing CROs' negotiation and execution of site agreements and investigator grants across global clinical trials, ensuring compliance and efficiency in site contracting processes.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee CROs’ negotiation and execution of site agreements, investigator grants, and budget terms across global clinical trials

Act as a point of escalation for CROs

Ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency in site contracting processes

Provide strategic oversight while collaborating with internal stakeholders, CROs, and external legal consultants

Lead, develop, support, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Ensure compliance with Fortrea’s risk management strategy for allocated services

Liaise closely with other managers, Director (all levels) and Legal to ensure consistency in adoption and implementation of legal policies, procedures, and agreements

Required

Must have 5+ years of investigator budget and contract negotiation experience working with CROs and sites globally

Experience as a point of escalation

Strong Phase III and oncology experience

Bachelor's degree (LLB, JD, BA, or BS) preferred; university-level law degree preferred (EMEA)

Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements

Speaking/Writing/Reading in English, and fluent in Local Language from the Region

Minimum 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job

5 years or more related experience in a Contracts department working with site budgets & contracts in a global capacity

Preferred

Experience with GrantPlan, Grant Manager, and Smartsheet

Experience working with Pharma/Biotech
