Responsibilities

Lead resident relations and retention programs
Handle and resolve resident concerns or complaints
Start the lease renewal process with residents
Ensure that residents submit rent payments on time
Connect with residents regarding delinquent balances
Input late fees, rental agreement amounts, concessions, etc. correctly and collect from residents
Prepare bank deposits
Assist with the eviction of residents in compliance with a court order and directions of Attorneys and the Regional Manager
Handle and coordinate the move-in and move-out details
Process paperwork, maintain resident files, and keep all sensitive information confidential
Prepare weekly traffic, renewal, and financial reporting
Ensure the office team has all necessary office supplies for day-to-day success
Carry out any supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Community Director
Initiate and deliver resident lease violations, late notices, etc
Share organizational policies with the team and ensure protocol is followed
Walk apartment homes in preparation for move-ins to ensure the make-ready process is completed
Inspect apartment homes upon resident move-out for accurate Final Account Statements

Required

2-3 years of industry experience or experience in a related hospitality or customer service environment is required
Familiarity with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, evictions, Fair Housing, and associate safety is required
A strong foundation in financials and the ability to accurately calculate figures such as concessions, late fees, prorated rates, etc
A remarkable sense of professionalism especially when dealing with resident issues, future residents, and emergency situations
High attention to detail
A positive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to serve

Preferred

An Associate's Degree, or equivalent from a college or technical school is preferred
