Advanced Energy United is a national industry association representing businesses in advanced energy and transportation solutions. The Gubernatorial Education intern will support the team in influencing bipartisan allies and developing policy memos while engaging with gubernatorial candidates across priority states in 2026.

Responsibilities

Support United’s work across its priority states where gubernatorial elections are being held in 2026

Identify and influence bipartisan allies in the advanced energy space

Develop policy memos, facilitate roundtables, and serve as an industry expert for gubernatorial candidates

Focus on research, logistical organization, and preparation for the Gubernatorial Education team’s engagements with candidates and staff across the country

Complete a final project to be presented to the organization at the end of the program
