Responsibilities
Assist the Division Manager in planning, overseeing, and administering specialized engineering functions
Provide leadership in daily operations to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and departmental goals
Respond to emergency operational needs, including after-hours, nights, and weekends as required
Seal engineering plans under immediate personal supervision, as applicable
Develop, manage, and monitor the Division's operating budget
Supervise and evaluate professional, technical, and operational staff; make recommendations on hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions
Oversee and manage third-party contractors and service contracts
Query and analyze work order systems to produce data and reports for quality, efficiency, and workforce forecasting
Write specifications for maintenance, service, and outsourced labor contracts
Support Design and Construction in executing small projects using in-house resources
Represent the Division in meetings with departments, outside agencies, business partners, and community organizations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Licensure: Registered Professional Engineer with the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors
Experience: At least seven (7) years of related professional work experience
Licensure: Possession of a current, valid driver's license
