Junior Recruiter

Responsibilities

Source and identify talent through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels
Conduct outreach and engage passive candidates to generate interest in open roles
Maintain and organize candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Leverage Boolean searches and recruiting tools to support sourcing activities
Conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications, experience, and interest
Schedule interviews with candidates and internal hiring teams
Coordinate feedback and next steps with hiring managers and senior recruiters
Support candidate communication throughout the hiring process to ensure a strong experience
Post job descriptions across internal and external job boards
Update and maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting databases
Assist with offer letter preparation, onboarding coordination, and compliance activities
Maintain recruiting metrics and reporting as needed
Partner with senior recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements
Participate in intake meetings to review profiles, competencies, and hiring criteria
Support campus recruiting, job fairs, and career events as needed

Required

0–2 years of recruiting, HR, staffing, or related experience (internships welcome)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable speaking with candidates and building relationships
Interest in talent acquisition, HR, or staffing as a career path

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications, or related field preferred
Familiarity with ATS systems, LinkedIn, or sourcing tools a plus
