Supervisor, Production (Precision Tube Fabrication)

Responsibilities

Supervise operations within the facility to achieve and maintain rate, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of each employee by creating training and organizing opportunities for continuous learning
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and professional standards within the facility
Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
Evaluate and fix/improve each station within the production operation to ensure optimal efficiency
Maintain communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood and followed
Manage the flow of raw materials and other resources within Precision Tube Fabrication
Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications

Required

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing/production/testing environment
1+ years of experience leading a team or project
Must be available to work 1st shift hours, extended hours, and weekends as needed
Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
Able to travel for short and extended trips as needed

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 5+ years in operational leadership
Crane Operator Certification
Time management, scheduling and organizational skills
Demonstrated experience developing and working within company specific Lean Six Sigma programs
Understanding of all rigging equipment – shackles, straps, slings, rope, hoists, etc
Ability to calculate and determine appropriate lifting equipment and write lift plans
Strong working knowledge of lifting signals and communications
Manufacturing planning
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to build and maintain consistently winning and cohesive teams
Computer skills and knowledge of collaboration tools
Experience monitoring and continuously improving product quality, cost and lead times
