IT Hardware Asset Manager
Cimarron Inc. is a global solutions company seeking an IT Hardware Asset Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract. The role involves managing IT assets, tracking inventory, facilitating procurement, and ensuring compliance with asset management policies.

Responsibilities
Provide support to IRES customers as a member of the MIT Asset Management Functional Team
Maintain positive control of IT assets by actively tracking physical locations for both deployed and stored inventories
Analyze inventory issues and identify solutions to improve accuracy while supporting the property team across multiple portfolios
Serve as the sole point of contact and owner of the hardware audit process for the DCCX customer
Facilitate procurement activities and maintain tracking through dedicated documentation
Communicate with vendors and resellers to gather budgetary estimates and confirm procurement details
Track and receive equipment within facility or warehouse storage locations
Update the CMDB/database with lifecycle management information, new requirements, sustainment efforts, and all customer-required data
Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
Complete monthly inventory scan audits and participate actively in all asset management activities
Support hardware disposition efforts, including sanitization, excessing actions, and destruction of CDs or hard drives when required
Track and facilitate actions related to classified control documentation (NTX)
Uphold all asset management policies and procedures
Plan and coordinate access to execute asset management functions across multiple locations
Maintain equipment storage locations by inventorying, restocking, and issuing equipment to technical staff following established processes
Qualification
Required

Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include, but is not limited to, testing for marijuana use
This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Ability to obtain a security clearance in a reasonable timeframe
6 or more years of general, full-time work experience (may be reduced with additional advanced education)
2 or more years of directly related asset management experience
Foundational understanding of IT equipment
Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with internal teams and customers
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to collaborate across teams on a wide range of efforts and functions
Demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and adapt to shifting priorities
Ability to adjust quickly to a strong team environment and contribute to maintaining that connection
Ability to stay self-motivated while remaining flexible as needs evolve
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
