Responsibilities

Must accurately read and comprehend material specifications and drawings

Record inspection results in Oracle database and maintain accurate hard-copy records

Process discrepant material using nonconformance forms, inform purchasing of non-conformance

Accountable for stopping material from release when quality requirements are not met and immediately notify their Group Leader or Supervisor of same

Amiable to changes in work requirements pertaining to workload, priorities, training, etc

Required

Min 4 years Receiving and in-process electronic assembly Inspection experience

Must be proficient in basic inspection tools, i.e.; micrometer, calipers, pin gages, optical inspection tools including optical comparator, microscope, etc

Working knowledge or certification in IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and similar workmanship standards

Must be proficient in inspection techniques using various inspection tools and equipment to make this determination

Must have a self-starting work ethic with little direct supervision in a technical environment and follow instructions, establish priorities in the work-flow according to the strategic needs of the department

Must have very good verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge with Oracle and Agile databases
