Responsibilities

Establishes long-term business direction by considering clinical and financial data, resources, market drivers, and organizational values
Anticipates and responds to shifts in the market, technology, or policy environment affecting healthcare delivery, management, and financing
Develops and implements strategic plans with Physician Dyad leader and stakeholders
Maintains, evaluates, and expands the Institute, covering all care aspects
Collaborates with Facility leadership to create and implement strategic business development plans and performance metrics, engaging physicians/surgeons and key stakeholders
Uses financial data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, identifying implications for potential strategies while keeping a financial perspective in strategic decisions
Maintains fiscal management accountability and applies cost containment principles to create new or improved revenue generation methods or care models
Regularly meets with Ops directors and Institute medical directors to review progress towards strategic goals
Develops and implements plans to address performance gaps, clinical care, community needs, and growth opportunities
Plans, develops, and recruits for Institute specialties, subspecialties, and super-specialties
Translates strategic priorities into operational reality by aligning communication, accountabilities, resource capabilities, internal processes, and measurement systems to ensure measurable and sustainable results
Validates Institute performance, including employee engagement, patient experience, clinical delivery, turnaround times, physician satisfaction, and market and financial results
Collaborates with medical staff and clinicians to develop an integrated, evidence-based care process, coordinating resources for effective patient management across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and diagnostic settings
Develops, implements, and evaluates disease-specific programs or centers to meet volume, profitability, quality, and service standards, driving value across the Institute continuum of care
Other duties as assigned
