Network Engineer
Kelley Create is seeking a Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable networking solutions across enterprise environments. The role involves technical leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN, cloud networking, and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Stay current with emerging technologies including SD-WAN, network security, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), routing/switching, wireless, and automation
Evaluate trends and recommend strategic direction for networking services to ensure scalability, security, and partner alignment
Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise, lead solution presentations, and assist in scoping engagements
Design and standardize modular, repeatable networking solutions including reference architectures and implementation frameworks
Work with engineering and service delivery teams to develop workflows, playbooks, and automation strategies for efficient deployment and support
Define and document networking activities and templates to ensure consistency across the organization
Train and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and leadership readiness

Qualification
Required
Minimum 7 years in network engineering or architecture roles
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade networking solutions
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and urgency
Ability to act with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Effective multitasking and time management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Clear, concise, and professional communication—both written and verbal—with partners and internal teams
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Skilled in preparing, organizing, and presenting technical and strategic information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours and on-call rotations as needed
Advanced knowledge of designing, implementing and supporting enterprise networking technologies including: Routing and switching (Cisco, Aruba), SD-WAN and VPN architectures, Network security (firewalls, ACLs, IDS/IPS), Wireless networking and cloud integration (Azure/AWS), Network automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python)
Experience with tools like ConnectWise, Visio, and network monitoring platforms
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required; must maintain an acceptable driving record
Preferred
Experience in a managed services or consulting environment preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Preferred certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Expert (CCIE), Architect (CCaR), Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus
