Akkodis is seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. You will design and build scalable data pipelines and architectures on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data services and frameworks
Build scalable data solutions leveraging Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Snowflake for batch and real-time data processing
Develop and maintain data models and schemas in relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
Write efficient, reusable code in Python and SQL to transform and load data across multiple systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions
Monitor and improve data pipeline performance, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with data governance standards

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Azure cloud services
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Snowflake, and building scalable data pipelines and architectures
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB) and ETL/ELT processes
