Responsibilities
Use SolidWorks CAD software to optimize design using customer supplied drawings/models
Develop flat patterns to be used in the camming process
Verify incoming work orders for accuracy
Assist customers with design improvements
Provide detailed build drawings to production floor as required
Assist production with design and tooling issues
Manage change requests from customers and floor personnel and maintain controlled documentation
Review peer drawings and programs for accuracy
Miscellaneous duties as assigned to help us achieve its goals
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical school certificate in related field of study
Minimum of 3 years of SolidWorks CAD experience
Experience and/or knowledge of metal fabrication
Three years of programming experience in a manufacturing environment. (Can include internships)
Technical skills to support position including Microsoft Excel
