They are seeking an experienced CPA Tax Manager / Tax Supervisor to manage all phases of tax engagements, with a focus on high-net-worth individual clients, while providing leadership within the tax practice.

Responsibilities
Manage all phases of tax planning, preparation, review, compliance, and research
Prepare and review Individual (high-net-worth), Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate tax returns
Apply current tax laws, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific guidance to identify client impacts and recommend strategic solutions
Utilize and oversee tax software including Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks
Stay current on tax law developments and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
Coordinate complex tax and accounting projects with other members of the accounting team
Review engagement workpapers, resolve issues, and keep partners informed of key developments
Coordinate engagement staffing, job planning, and scheduling
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff accountants
Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services and operational efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting (Required)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (Required)
7+ years of experience in a CPA firm (Required)
Extensive experience with high-net-worth individual tax returns and complex personal tax engagements
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, collaborative, and client-focused with a strong “firm-first” mindset
Preferred
Experience with UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products
