Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation is looking for a Car Rental Agent to join their UIC Car Rental team. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of rental vehicles, assisting customers with reservations, and performing basic vehicle servicing while supporting administrative functions.

Responsibilities

Clean and detail vehicles; perform regular exterior and interior washes

Refuel returned vehicles and prepare them for next rental

Conduct basic vehicle maintenance (oil/filter changes, minor tire repairs)

Check in returned rentals; assist customers with reservations and checkouts

Maintain accurate records of vehicle servicing and usage

Support the manager with weekly financial logs for accounting

Unlock and stage vehicles for customers or company use

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in customer service

Basic knowledge of oil changes and tire repair/replacement

Employee must have a valid driver's license and three (3) year clean driving record

Must successfully pass a background check

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to observe and identify vehicle condition and maintenance needs

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious

Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or more

Requires physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods

Must remain alert and focused while working independently or under time pressure
