Responsibilities

Provide technical support and assessment for new product/process development, with a focus on system assembly
Develop and implement tooling, process documentation, and product instructions for SI assemblies. Prepare engineering documentation for production and support prototype builds
Configure BOMs/routings for SI, ensuring alignment with product structures, standards, and internal procedures. Implement ECO/DA changes from customers and release Manufacturing Documents (MPIs and SOPs)
Act as the primary point of contact for engineering-related customer issues
Evaluate and influence manufacturing costs, providing recommendations for design for manufacturability (DFM)
Design and procure tooling/fixtures for assembly processes during prototype stages
Define and establish processes and assembly lines for new products
Facilitate product transfers among global facilities
Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced technologies and innovations

Required

B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in electronic manufacturing
Proficiency in English is required
Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

Preferred

An M.S. or M.B.A. in Engineering or a related discipline is a plus
Knowledge of Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus
Knowledge of Agile and Valor DFM is preferred
Familiarity with NPI processes and IPC training
Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
