Alta Technology Group is seeking a Junior Front End Javascript Developer for a long-term, remote federal government contracted opportunity. The developer will design, develop, and implement web-based client applications while adhering to Agile methodologies and modern JavaScript coding standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement web-based client applications
Follow approved Agile life cycle methodologies
Adhere to modern JavaScript coding standards
Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
Interface with Business Analysis and UI/UX teams

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical/Information Technology/Computer Science
Public Trust Clearance and/or ability to obtain
Strong experience developing client-side applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember, React, Vue, Angular)
Experience consuming back-end APIs and working with front-end data layers or client-side data modeling tools
Proficiency with HTML, Handlebars, CSS, SASS, and Bootstrap
Extensive experience writing front-end automated tests using JavaScript testing frameworks (qunit, mocha, jest)
Working knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git)
Experience providing production support and issue resolution

Preferred

TypeScript development experience
Experience working within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) development environment
Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
