Responsibilities
Responsible for accurate cash balancing, processing daily unposted items, investment accounting; quarterly financial reporting; and various bank accounting systems
Maintain correspondent bank balances, reconciliations, and serve as a back-up for accounts payable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, with one to three years prior accounting experience required; in the financial services industry preferred
Experience with financial reconciliations required, in the financial services industry preferred
Demonstrated aptitude for working with numbers/figures with accuracy and strong attention to detail required
Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a group or independently
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, with one to three years prior accounting experience required; in the financial services industry preferred
Experience with financial reconciliations required, in the financial services industry preferred
