Administrative & Business Operations Coordinator
The Center for Creative Economy (CCE) is a nonprofit organization based in Winston-Salem, NC, dedicated to supporting creative entrepreneurs. The Administrative & Business Operations Coordinator will assist with administrative, operational, and logistical activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization, focusing on internal systems and support for board processes and event logistics.

Responsibilities
Organizes documents, prepares agendas, drafts correspondence, and takes meeting notes
Prepares presentations, packets, and basic reports as requested
Maintains digital files and internal administrative systems
Serves as an administrative point of contact for partners, vendors, and stakeholders
Coordinates scheduling, reminders, and logistics for Board and committee meetings
Prepares agendas, packets, and materials for distribution
Takes and organizes accurate meeting minutes
Maintains governance records, rosters, calendars, and files
Tracks Board-related tasks to support timely implementation
Organizes subscription accounts, software tools, renewals, and vendor coordination
Handles receipt collection, invoice documentation, and financial system support (e.g., uploading receipts in Ramp)
Coordinates vendor documentation, W9s, contracts, and invoice preparation for approval
Maintains accurate digital records for audits, grant documentation, and compliance tracking
Coordinates workspace logistics, supplies, and basic technology needs
Maintains CRM updates, mailing lists, and internal records
Supports HR administrative processes such as onboarding documentation and checklists
Coordinates logistics for programs (Velocity, Kinetic, Pathways, etc.), including space reservations, communications, and materials
Supports setup, participant check-in, attendance tracking, and program documentation
Provides operational support for events, including hospitality, printing, supplies, and onsite logistics
Compiles basic program data such as surveys, attendance reports, and materials for grant documentation
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of administrative, operational, or office coordination experience, ideally in a nonprofit or community-based organization
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for meetings, programs, and events
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated initiative within assigned tasks and ability to anticipate needs
Professionalism, maturity, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to working effectively with diverse groups
Ability to plan and organize meetings, prepare materials, and produce accurate minutes
Ability to adapt to evolving processes during a period of organizational transition
Competence in basic analytical thinking and problem-solving within the assigned scope
Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to handle tasks both large and small
Ability to remain calm during deadlines, events, and time-sensitive situations
Proficiency with Google Workspace; ability to learn CRMs or project management tools
Ability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends
