As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Monitor, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a logistics and distribution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner

Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity

Screen individuals entering or exiting the location, verifying credentials and/or shipments as required by site procedures

Report and document any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to Allied Universal and client protocols

Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters

Assist with crowd and/or traffic control as needed during peak operational periods or special events at the location

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred

Access control or badge experience is preferred

Customer service experience is preferred

Alarm panel experience is preferred

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
