Account Director / Manager (Large Healthcare / Pharma Clients) – IT Services & Solutions (Farmer Role)
GoWin Search LLC is a global company specializing in technology and marketing solutions. They are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to lead and expand strategic client relationships within the healthcare and life sciences sector, focusing on account growth and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Marketing, IT, Procurement, and vendor partner teams
Drive account growth through structured upselling and cross-selling of IT services and solutions
Develop and execute account growth plans aligned with client business priorities and long-term objectives
Own and deliver against revenue, margin, and overall account growth targets
Manage contract renewals, commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and scope expansions
Identify and pursue new project and engagement opportunities across multiple client business units
Strategically position and sell IT services, including Application Development and Maintenance, Digital Transformation and Cloud, Data, Analytics and AI, Enterprise Platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Managed Services
Collaborate closely with delivery, solutioning, and pre-sales teams to ensure seamless execution and value realisation
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through SLA adherence, proactive issue management, and timely resolution
Support client audits, governance forums, executive reviews, and operational meetings as required
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare and life sciences regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, and GxP standards, where applicable
Qualification
Required
12 to 15+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or managed services
Proven experience managing large healthcare or life sciences enterprise accounts
Strong background in account farming, revenue growth, and long-term client retention
In-depth knowledge of IT services delivery models and engagement frameworks
Excellent communication, presentation, and senior stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions
Hands-on experience with contracts, commercial structuring, pricing, and negotiations
Strong coordination and collaboration skills across global and cross-functional teams
A bachelor's degree is required
Preferred
An MBA is strongly preferred
Prior experience working with US-based healthcare enterprises is an advantage
Familiarity with the Bay Area client ecosystem is preferred
