Responsibilities
Drive the global sourcing strategy for high-value Mechanical (e.g.. Chillers, Fan Walls, etc.) and/or Electrical categories (e.g.. High Voltage Breakers and Transformers, Medium Voltage Switchgear, etc.)
Work directly with the Engineering team to define product specifications, drive cost optimization during the engineering development phase, and align technology roadmaps with supplier capabilities
Lead complex commercial negotiations, draft robust agreements in collaboration with the Verrus Legal team; including detailed SLAs, quality guarantees, and cancellation clauses
Develop and maintain "Should-Cost" models, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses, and cost optimization goals for managed categories
Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate supply chain risks related to geopolitical events, material scarcity, and single-source dependencies across the mechanical and/or electrical commodity groups
Partner with the Delivery and Construction teams to manage capacity planning and buffer stock strategies to ensure Continuity of Supply despite volatile global markets
Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with global Tier 1 critical infrastructure OEMs to drive collaboration and performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of strategic sourcing, global supply chain, or procurement experience, preferably in critical infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, or data center construction
Experienced in negotiation and managing complex, multi-year commercial and legal agreements
Strong proficiency in analyzing TCO and developing clear executive-level presentations
Preferred
MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering
Direct experience managing supplier relationships with major Mechanical or Electrical Infrastructure OEMs
