As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a logistics and distribution location, ensuring safety and security while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location
Communicate with supervisors, Allied Universal management, and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and incidents
Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly following patrols and/or incidents
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as appropriate for the logistics and distribution environment
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential issues and respond promptly to any security-related concerns
Qualification
Required
At least 6 months of security-related experience
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
